The V-Center

The V-Center houses our community-based outreach. Located in “The Villa” residential neighborhood of South East Tulare, the program provides an important after-school safe haven for students while their parents are at work. More than 50 students are currently participating in the program which offers tutoring, homework assistance, snacks, activities, and opportunities for personal enrichment. There is a five-week summer program, and tutoring is available for parents wanting to gain basic computer skills.

Goals set by the foundation board include: resources and tutoring for adults wanting to learn and improve their English language skills, job counseling, and an outdoor sports venue for the neighborhood.

If you want to make a difference in your community, the V-Center is a great place to start.

What Law Enforcement is saying about the V-Center

“The V-Center program is exactly the kind of neighborhood-based outreach needed in our rural communities to keep kids safe and give them the tools they need to succeed.”
